Product Description
A
robust yet lightweight ducting made from
a neoprene impregnated and coated woven
glassfibre cover, spirally sewn in overlapping
plies enclosing a galvanised spring steel
helix. A rugged thermoplastic scuff strip
(optional) can be incorporated during manufacture
for additional external protection.
Lightweight
and highly flexible, designed for conveying
air, other gases and light solids at low
pressure. Suitable for portable and semi-permanent
air handling applications. Typical applications
would be warm air movement, air cabin preheating,
building drying, cooling, general ventilation,
oil mist and fume extraction.
Supplied as standard with wire free cuff
ends for easy connection to fans, heaters,
dryers etc.

Features
Lightweight:
light in weight and easy to handle.
Custom-made: a versatile ducting which
can be custom-made with a choice of length,
end finish, pitch etc. (see accessories information
page). Compressible: easily compressed by
85% for convenient transportation and storage.
Chemical Resistance: good chemical resistance
to many oils, solvents and industrial chemicals
in the vapour phase at moderate concentrations.
Standard Length: up to 7.6 metres, to special
order up to 10 metres.
Colour: Black.
Temperature Range:
—40°C to +150°C at 20°C ambient.
